Callen Douglas, instructor, Director, and Owner of Evolution Dance Company, began dancing at the age of 3 and joined a competitive team at the age of 6. Callen won several awards in her dance career and received many collegiate scholarships. She attended New York’s Joffrey Ballet and studied under several talented instructors during her time with the program. She began teaching dance at the age of 16 and quickly realized that it was her passion. She pursued her dream of teaching and performed in New York with her collegiate team, and later graduated with her degree in dance. Mrs. Callen started a competitive dance program at EDC in 2020 that has continued helping talented young athletes grow in their confidence and skills.

Chamberlyn Ogden, Assistant Director, has danced since she was 3 years old and started dancing competitively when she was 7. She was on the Clear Lake Flairs and was a Junior Lieutenant her Junior year and Captain her Senior year. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. While there, she choreographed and taught dance classes at a local dance studio. She is now in Occupational Therapy school at UTMB and is so excited to teach and choreograph again!

Ms. Maddie has been dancing since the age of 12. While she loved her time training in the studio, she also developed a strong passion for drill team. She was a member of the Deer Park Deer Escorts all four years of high school, as well as a four-year member of their Elite Team, “Dreamscape.” Ms. Maddie is currently attending San Jacinto College, and she plans to become an early childhood teacher. In addition to working at an elementary school in her hometown, she loves teaching at the studio and watching dancers grow in both skill and confidence.
